Ganz ganz viele liebe Glueckwuensche an meine Schwester Manuela und Schwager Lars zur Geburt ihres kleinen Felix. Foto hab ich auch schon gesehen, ist ein ganz suesser, knuffiger kleiner Kerl und vor allem das Wichtigste - rund-um gesund!
Herrlich wie die Familie immer groesser wird, dieses Jahr Weihnachten ist die Bude voll
Auf jeden Fall wuensch ich den beiden (und natuerlich auch Philipp) ganz viel Freude mit ihrem Sonnenschein!

Couple of days ago I got my copy of the new Billy Franks‘ album “The Turtledove Boutique”, and what can I say, I love it. It’s a great album, very well produced and Billy’s voice is just amazing. I already have 4 favourite songs, “No need of bells”, “Somewhere else”, “Stolen Guitars” and “The Turtledove Boutique” (probably the best one). So everyone who likes some good tunes I recommend his album.

So, what else…..this weekend it’s the Eurovision Songcontest again. Yes, our household loves it and of course we have to watch it. Last Tuesday was already the first Semi Final (today’s the 2nd) and thank God that Irish turkey didn’t get through. Our favourite (again) will be Finland’s entry, some good old Hard Rock/Metal, so our vote will go to Teräsbetoni (I heard the English name would be “Steel concrete” LOL.
Hmmm, not sure about the German one again, the song is not that bad but I’m not a massive Pop Fan.
England’s entry……well, I like the voice of that guy, but the song is just boring and the “kick” is missing.
The songs of all the other countries are not my cup of tea, but I have the strange feeling again that one of the Eastern European Countries will win again.
Come on Rock Fans, vote for Finland!!!!!!!!

Hier sind nochmal meine beiden kleinen Buendel:

Mika ist wirklich irre stolz auf seine Schwester, drueckt und knuddelt sie alle paar Minuten und wenn sie mal weint faengt er aus Sympathie auch fast an *lach*.
Langsam aber sicher gewoehne ich mich auch an die schlaflosen Naechte. Ok, ganz schlaflos sind sie nicht, aber mehr als 1 Stunde, maximal 2, Schlaf am Stueck bekomme ich nicht. War damals bei Mika aber genauso und man uebersteht das auch
Viel weinen tut sie aber nicht, nur hat sie im Moment ziemliche Blaehungen und dann meckert sie doch schon etwas mehr. Aber laenger als 10-15 Minuten dauert das nicht (Gott sei Dank).
Alles in allem bin ich irre froh die Maus hier zu haben und der ganze Stress vor der Geburt hat sich wirklich gelohnt.
In diesem Sinne, auf zum Windel wechseln.

We are already back home now and she is doing really well; drinking a lot, poohing a lot and sleeping a lot. Mika also loves his little sister, he’s always stroking and kissing her.
Anyway, need a lot of rest now, still achy.

Tomorrow we are off to the hospital for the C-section, and I’m really glad that it will be over soon, because my back is killing me lately. I will, if everything’s alright, stay there for a week, maybe two, so no posting here then.

Ich wuensche allen eine frohe Ostern, viel Spass beim Eier suchen und nicht so doll in die Ostereier rein hauen!

I won’t be able to post a lot in the near future due to complications with the baby. I have to go to hospital now almost every day and they can deliver the baby also any day now. As soon as everything is back to “normal” I’ll post again.

In der naechsten Zeit werd ich leider nicht in der Lage sein hier zu schreiben wegen Komplikationen mit dem Baby. Ich muss mittlerweile fast jeden Tag ins Krankenhaus zu Check up’s und die Aerzte koennen jetzt jederzeit das Baby auf die Welt holen. Sobald alles wieder halbwegs normal laeuft schreibe ich wieder. Bis dahin lasst es euch gut gehen und ab und zu kommt noch eine Post von mir
