I wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Ein frohes Weihnachtsfest an alle und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr!
We are off to Germany tomorrow for 2 weeks, so I don’t know if I’ll have the time to post much. If not I’ll see you all next year again, have a great Christmas time with family and friends and take care!
I actually wanted to post just one song for my No. 2 but I couldn’t decide between 2 songs which should be No. 1 So instead of deciding (too lazy today) I put both songs as No. 2 on the site. No. 1 follows tomorrow.
Enjoy!
Ok, here’s Slade with “Merry Xmas everybody” (my grumpy boyfriend said I should be spanked for not putting it to No. 1)
And the second one is Band Aid with “Do they know it’s Christmas”
So here we are, it’s one week before Christmas and I start my personal Top 3 Christmas Songs. Today is No 3, a brilliant song by the wonderful Wizzard/Roy Wood. We saw him last year in Bilston live and he was absolutely brilliant. He’s there again this Friday but unfortunately I can’t catch him this time.
Anyway, here is “I wish it could be Christmas every day” – dedicated to my Dad who loves the song too.
Today we had our 20-week-scan at the hospital, everything’s fine, the baby is growing nicely, it was also very active and now we also know what it is……………………………………………………………………………………..yes, Mika gets a little sister. I’m very, very happy about that and so is Gareth (I hope *LOL*) and my parents. My dad said he has to drink a “Schnaps” tonight with my mum and my mum already would like to buy lots of dolls *ggg*. Ah, parents, huh?!
BTW, we are off to Germany next Saturday for 2 weeks, can hardly wait now. What I look forward the most is my mum’s cooking and baking. It’s mad but the last few months I was constantly thinking about my mum’s cooking. She already said that she will bake a yummy Quarkcake (some sort of cheesecake) one day before we arrive so I can kill the whole lot when I’m there (I have to be fast though, because my grumpy boyfriend likes this cake too!!!).
Off to watch CBeebies with Mika now, “In the night garden” is on soon.
Last Saturday we (my grumpy boyfriend, my eldest sister and me) went to Wolverhampton to see HIM live. It was absolutely great but packed. A lot of teenagers were there (gosh, I feel so old now), it was hot and at one point I felt like a fish in a tin, but the gig itself was brilliant. The support act was a band from Chicago (already forgot the name), they were good but not my cup of tea. HIM came on stage at 9.15pm and played for 1 1/2 hour; a good mix from almost all their albums, incl. songs like “Join me”, “Wicked game”, “Funeral of hearts”, etc. I took some photos as well (not that good) and filmed a little, but the drums and bass were too loud, so again, it’s all not good quality. Ville Valo (the singer) was as thin as a bean but looked gorgeous and the bass player looked really like a “Waldschrat”, a German word for someone who lives in the woods and hasn’t seen soap, hairbrush and shaver for quite a while *LOL*.
Anyway, all in all a great gig, had lots of fun.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppyyyyy Birthday Arite!!!! Wuensche dir alles, alles Gute du alte Schachtel, naechstes Jahr werdens 30 *ggg*. Feier schoen und ich trink einen Tee auf dich!!!
I hardly swear (only sometimes), but in my opinion the FIA is just a bunch of fuckwits. It’s so fucking ridiculous that Renault doesn’t get a punishment, but hey, didn’t I say that before?! Bah, I could throw up.
