Today is Mother’s Day in Britain and this is what my son made for me; a flower and a picture of me. Isn’t it gorgeous?!:

I proudly present Mika’s Christmas Party hat for his school party tomorrow. There’s a competition for the most original hat and maybe he has a little chance with this one. I know it’s not perfect and cutting the Santa in half was quite hard work, but I love it and so does Mika.

Heute hatte Mika seine erste Schul-Weihnachtsauffuehrung. Er durfte ein kleiner Elf sein und hat alles wirklich super hinbekommen. Ab und zu musste ich mir schon eine kleine Traene verkneifen. *schnief* Hier ein paar Bilder:

Today was Mika’s first Christmas concert. He was a little Elf and did a fantastic job. I nearly shed some tears because he looked so gorgeous. Here are some pics now:

One week ago we arrived back in the Midlands from our holidays in Germany. We had a brilliant time, hot weather, yummy food and we met lots of old friends again. But most important, we went to a fantastic wedding of my dear friend Arite. She was such a gorgeous bride and I still can’t believe she made that wedding dress on her own. If I’ll ever get married she has to sew mine as well. Wow, what a talent.
